Sacred Stone Massage Therapy

This is a unique "experience" that heightens the senses, helps you feel more comfortable living in your body and renews the sweetness of life. Using warm, aromatic, organic oils, sea stones and crystals, this is a form of deep tissue ayurvedic massage, but it can also be geared for more sensitive constitutions.

Stones can never replace the hand, so we combine the use of firm hands to massage out tight knots and velvety textured stones to gently grip the muscle sheaths, giving way for deep tissue release. Finger-shaped stones press lightly into marma points to clear blockages. The central nervous system becomes sedated when the stones are laid upon the spinal column, melting toxins, increasing circulation, lymph flow, radiance and vitality. The beauty of this therapy is manifested in the compassion extended from the therapist to the client. This compassion becomes imprinted within the matrix of each stone.

Sacred Stone Facial Therapy

This is a beautifying ayurvedic facial treatment inducing a radiant glow and a feeling of wellness and vitality. Clients remained clothed and nestled on a soft massage table as mildly heated and chilled stones are gliding along the face using aromatic, vedic hydrating oils, creating firmer skin, reducing age spots and softening wrinkles. The arms, shoulders, neck and feet are also massaged with warm stones and aromatic oils.

Specific marma point on the face are activated to simulate a natural face lift, remove tension, brighten the eyes, relieve sinus conditions and reduce puffiness. Home-made masks of honey, clay, neem oil and avocado are applied to the face with aromatic rose mists and purifying crystals. A refreshing, invigorating treatment for everyone!

Ayurvedic Warm Oil Massage (Abhyanga)

Abyhanga is a Sanskrit word meaning "to rub the limbs", usually with warm herbal oil. Warm, herbal-oil massage nourishes the skin, aids in removing impurities, stimulates both arterial and lymphatic circulation, and calms the central nervous system, promoting a blissful sensation. Firm or light pressure can be used. To support flow of prana in the body, abhyanga is done in a specific, ancient sequence based on terminal clearance techniques that remove pain, anxiety and stress.

This massage begins by applying fresh lemon, salt, then oil to the soles of the feet for systemic detoxification. Then oil is applied to the crown of the head. Once these entrance/exit points (also known as terminal ends) are lubricated, the flow of prana and healing can begin.

What is pancha karma? Sacred Stone Anti-Cellulite Massage

Sacred Stone's homemade Vedic Cellulite Detox Oil is designed to heat the subcutaneous fat and smooth out lumps and bumps. Cranio-Ear-Sinus Therapy

The ancient medical science of ayurveda teaches us that nasya therapy can help heal ear disorders, sinus problems, mental disorders, neck stiffness, migraine headache, dryness of the nose, TMJ, memory loss, convulsions, hoarseness, colds, anxiety, fear, insecurity and nervousness. This treatment involves applying a few drops of eucalyptus-based herbal oil into the nostrils. According to Ayurveda, the nose is the doorway to the brain and to consciousness. Nasya is done after netti pot therapy, which involves warm salt water running through the nostrils.

Karna purana therapy is then applied, which is a flow a steady stream of warm, herbal oil on to a specific marma point at the top of the ear can help liquefy earwax, lubricate the ear canal, remove dryness, promotes toxins and debris to exist the ear canal, help reduce most ear pain and alleviate ear infections, jet-lag, and assists in aligning the bones in the head, much like cranio-sacral therapy. Skin Polishing Therapy (Garshana)

Garshana is a Sanskrit word meaning "dry brushing". This stimulating and rejuvenating treatment involves a dry lymphatic skin brushing technique and sequence done with textured raw, silk gloves. The brushing (garshana) increases circulation, alkalizes the blood, detoxifies the liver, helps create negative ions (which are the good ones!) and cleans the skin. It's a perfect prelude to an oil massage! After the dead skin is polished off the body, the herbal massage oil can penetrate and nourish the skin deeply.
